Research profile
Nataša Jošková is a master's student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. She works in computational mechanics, with a strong focus on modeling and homogenizing discrete materials, alongside their topology optimization. She complements her theoretical work with experimental mechanics and industry collaboration, including the development of a non-invasive wood veneer defectoscopy. Her work bridges theory, programming, and practical applications.
Academic profile
Nataša received her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague under the joint supervision of Martin Doškář and Marek Tyburec. Her Bachelor's thesis focused on optimizing structures of mechanical metamaterials for a prescribed macroscopic response. With the outcomes of this work, she twice won the international student scientific competition SVOČ.
