Research profile
Ivana Pultarová is an Associate professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. She is involved in research and teaching activities related to numerical mathematics. Ivana's current research activities concentrate on numerical methods in homogenization and their preconditioning.
Academic profile
Ivana earned his Ph.D. degree at Czech Technical University in Prague in 2006 under the supervision of Ivo Marek. The focus of her thesis, “Numerical solution of Markov chains” was on iterative aggregation method of solution of large discrete Markov chains.Ivana was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012. From 2013 to 2018 she joined the ERC-CZ MORE project team at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Charles University with a research focusing on multilevel solution methods and preconditioning, including problems with random parameters.
